I'm old enough to remember the Old Lore. How things used to be. But GW has had plenty of time rewrite their lore over and over. So there is plenty of it.
Sometimes when I can't sleep, I'll put on a Warhammer lore video and let it lull me toward darkness.
It's kind of like ASMR, except instead of some twenty-year-old softly crinkling paper, you've got an eight-foot-tall green alien enthusiastically tearing a man in half with a chainsword.
It's a different vibe, but I sleep like a GD baby.
